1. Assess the Area: Look for mold spots, stains, and sniff for musty odors in RV Curtain Fabrics, foam cushions, wall corners, or ceilings.
2. Clean First: Wipe down solid surfaces with a CLO2 solution to remove any visible debris or dirt.

How to Use Chlorine Dioxide for Your Tent

1.  Set Up and Inspect the Tent
   Take your tent outside and fully set it up. Inspect the fabric, seams, and zippers for signs of mold, mildew, or water damage. Pay attention to any musty odors—these often indicate hidden mold.
2. Lightly Clean the Surface
   Use a mild soap or vinegar solution to wipe down any visible dirt or mildew. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals, which can damage the tent fabric and leave behind toxic residue.
3.  Prepare the CLO₂ Treatment

6.  Ventilate Thoroughly
   Unzip all tent flaps and allow fresh air to circulate. Chlorine dioxide doesn’t leave toxic residue, but good airflow ensures any remaining gas dissipates before use or storage.
7. Store It Right
   Make sure the tent is completely dry before packing it up. Store it in a breathable bag (not plastic) and keep it in a cool, dry place to prevent future mold growth.
